2025: Presentation of the "Ark of Knowledge of Moscow State University"

Scientists of NOSH "Brain, cognitive systems," artificial intelligence presented the concept and architecture of universal encyclopedic platform "Ark of knowledge," MSU designed for systematization and management educational and scientific materials. The platform combines advanced wiki technologies neural network algorithms and digital transformation methods to form a single information space. This was announced by Moscow State University on May 29, 2025.

Technology has changed its approach to education and scientific activity. Universities, research institutes and educational platforms face the challenge of processing and structuring vast amounts of information. Students, teachers and scientists need convenient tools that make it easy to search, process and update data.

To solve this problem, scientists at Moscow State University have developed a universal encyclopedic platform that provides convenient access to educational and scientific materials. It integrates wiki technologies, artificial intelligence and knowledge management methods, creating a single digital space for storing and working with educational and scientific materials.

Our platform creates a single space of knowledge in which students, teachers and researchers can effectively work with educational and scientific materials. The use of wiki technologies and neural networks makes the system convenient and adaptive to the requirements of digital education, - said Alexey Semenov, head of the Department of Mathematical Logic and Theory of Algorithms, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Moscow State University.

The platform includes the "Ark of Knowledge of Moscow State University" - an online scientific library containing lectures, textbooks, scientific articles and multimedia data, as well as a network encyclopedia, the materials of which are used to create articles on the Big Russian Encyclopedia portal.

The developed system is an interactive digital environment including several key modules:

  • Wiki warehouse - a space for storing multimedia data, scientific illustrations and research materials.
  • Digital Publishing House - a system that allows teachers and scientists to publish and update teaching aids, scientific articles and monographs.
  • The electronic library is a single knowledge base, including lectures, methodological materials and digitized copies of rare books and documents.
  • Encyclopedia is an expert resource containing articles on various fields of science, available to both specialists and a wide audience.
  • News and publishing is a data update mechanism that allows educators and researchers to quickly share the results of new research and scientific discoveries.

The integration of ontological models and artificial intelligence technologies into the educational environment opens up new horizons for the automation of information analysis and processing. We strive to create a system that not only stores data, but also helps users find the necessary knowledge as quickly and efficiently as possible, "said Alexander Bubnov, a specialist in the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics at Moscow State University.

An important element of the platform is the ontology system, which provides structured data storage and support for intelligent search. Thanks to neural network algorithms, users can not only find the information they need, but also receive personalized recommendations based on their interests and requests. The Moscow State University Ark of Knowledge platform is aimed at a wide range of users - from students and teachers to researchers and developers of educational programs. It opens up new opportunities for distance learning, the creation of digital universities and the integration of educational resources into the global scientific community.

In addition to ease of use, the system provides reliable storage and data protection. All materials are regularly updated and checked by experts, which makes the platform not only convenient, but also a reliable source of information.

In today's world, access to quality education and scientific information plays a crucial role in the development of society. Digitalization of educational processes requires flexible, scalable and intelligent solutions that will help students and teachers quickly find, analyze and use information. The "Ark of Knowledge of Moscow State University" will become not just a data warehouse, but an active educational environment that can adapt to user requests, analyze trends in science and education and provide relevant knowledge in a convenient form.
