In TVEL company the telecommunications system implementation project is implemented

The Asteros company created uniform telecommunication infrastructure for the enterprises of TVEL fuel company.

Project Results

The Asteros company created uniform telecommunication infrastructure for five enterprises as a part of TVEL fuel company. The communication system increased quality of communications between the enterprises, simplified the procedure of adoption of operational solutions, significantly reduced costs for a domestic long distance communication.

Previously

For arrangement of reliable communications between employees "TVEL", the management of fuel company made the decision on construction of a uniform technology communication network. Telecommunication infrastructure covered five enterprises which are a part of fuel company: head office of the company "TVEL" and TVEL-INVEST, being in Moscow, "Machine-building plant" in the Moscow region, Chepetsk Mechanical Plant in Udmurtia and Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant. The contractor in the project the company "Asteros".

Nuances

Need of unification of telecommunication infrastructure of the enterprises constructed on the equipment from different producers became one of project tasks.

As a result of project implementation, telecommunication infrastructure of the customer is transferred to VoIP-technologies that allows the company to save significantly tanks of communication channels, without reducing quality of a conversation.

Opinion

"Need for each region to join among themselves solutions of different producers became the main complexity of the project. Specialists successfully coped with this task and created the uniform telecommunication infrastructure capable to provide not less than 15 simultaneous calls from each of platforms. In the long term we are going to expand a corporate system of communication on all enterprises of fuel company", – Alexey Novitsky, the head of department of administration of computing systems of directorate of IT of JSC TVEL tells.
