2025: Implementation of RPA and OCR in Veliky Novgorod and Smolensk Oblast
The Akron Group at its sites PJSC Akron in Veliky Novgorod and PJSC Dorogobuzh in the Smolensk Region implemented projects for the implementation of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Optical Character Recognition (OCR), providing automation in the processing of critical digital and paper information. This was announced on June 4, 2025 by Akron.
The introduction of RPA and OCR technologies has been worked out by specialists of the IT department of the Akron Group since 2023 - in 2025 they were put into commercial operation. These technologies are already an integral part of the process of digitalization and development of business and production.
The goals of the projects were to automate the processing of incoming documents to increase the speed of information processing, reduce the response time to incoming information by 95%, and also release human resources to solve other priority tasks.
RPA and OCR technologies are used in warehouses to process information from paper and digital documents. At the same time, RPA has been implemented in the IT Department on the first line of user support to quickly solve typical requests.
| RPA and OCR technologies help us process commodity value documentation, which simplifies the maintenance of corporate systems and allows us to autonomously maintain a single electronic archive of technical documentation. This made it possible to increase the speed of processing documents by 5 times, reduce the time for receiving information by departments to several minutes and free up about 20% of the time of valuable personnel resources. Implementation data is an important step towards creating a more efficient and flexible system of operational information exchange between all departments, said Mikhail Yaskevich, First Deputy Executive Director - Chief Engineer of PJSC Akron.

| The Akron Group is actively introducing elements of artificial intelligence in production and business. There are many technologies at work, not only RPA and OCR, but also LLM for solving more complex problems. We strive to create a highly efficient and intelligent environment for our employees and customers, noted Denis Guzanov, CEO of Acron Digital (AiTiOffice LLC).
