2025: Construction Begins
The project of the all-season tourist complex "Resort Sands" in the Leningrad Region received approval for preferential financing in the amount of ₽10,4 billion under the federal program to support hotel infrastructure. The total construction budget is ₽13,1 billion. This was announced in early June 2025 by one of the initiators of the project Dmitry Gordeev. Construction is planned on the territory of the Priozersky district, and the launch of the resort is focused on year-round loading with a focus on family and health recreation.
According to RBC, the project received support in two areas of state financing at once. The first direction provides for the construction of two four-star hotels with 240 rooms each. The second is the creation of the infrastructure of an all-season resort with a ski center and a water park as part of large investment projects.
In theThe founders of Resort Sands LLC are businessmen Vadim Finkelstein and Dmitry Gordeev, who previously acted as partners in the implementation of the Lakhta Towers LLC project in St. Petersburg. Finkelstein also holds the post of president of the Mix-Fight League of the M-1 Mixed Martial Arts Championship and owns the M-1 Arena concert and sports complex.
Investors' own funds in the tourism complex will amount to ₽2,7 billion. The implementation of a large-scale project on an area of 250 hectares is planned until 2030. The complex will include ski infrastructure for the winter season, a lake area for summer recreation and year-round SPA centers.
The founder and CEO of Cuva, Anton Lagun, called the Peski Resort a promising project thanks to its focus on all-season outdoor activities. The expert predicts high demand subject to competent positioning, a stable level of service and a well-thought-out marketing strategy.[1]
