2026: Adoption of fingerprint technology
Servicepipe has introduced fingerprint technology into the Visibla bad traffic protection platform. The company announced this on January 19, 206.
Visibla is Servicepipe's platform for analyzing application-level traffic and protecting against inopportune traffic in advertising campaigns. Includes Visibla Scan for traffic composition analysis and Visibla Verify for quality verification.
The Servicepipe lab tested the technology before implementation. During the study, hundreds of technical parameters on the client side were collected using fingerprint. This information was transmitted anonymously to the server for further analysis. At the same time, personal data of individuals were not collected and not processed.
The laboratory was able to obtain stable device signatures and identify patterns characteristic of fraud traffic. Analytics included studying the stability of fingerprint prints, their changes when using hiding tools, as well as anomalies characteristic of automated sessions. As a result, it was possible to identify repeated sessions with variable network parameters, but identical technical signatures, characteristic of botnets and hidden parsers. Additionally, features of the use of anti-test solutions have been established that create a surface variety of traffic, but retain unique stable device parameters.
The obtained developments are integrated into the Visibla line of solutions.
| Advertising fraud is becoming more sophisticated. Fraudsters have learned to bypass basic protection methods by changing IP addresses and using anti-test solutions, "said Mikhail Khlebunov, Product Director of Servicepipe. - Fingerprint, combined with other Visibla analysis mechanisms, helps you see the real picture and identify bot traffic in ads. |
2025: Visibla Presentation
The Servicepipe Lab is developing an application-level (L7) traffic analysis platform. The company announced this on June 6, 2025.
The platform will be called Visibla.
The specialized laboratory Servicepipe was launched in late November 2024. Initially, the goal of its creation was to study solutions (own and third-party players) for the ability to withstand current cyber threats - DDoS attacks at the network and application level.
For six months of work, the range of interests of the laboratory has significantly expanded: tests of Russian equipment were carried out to create PAC on its basis to protect against network threats. In addition, studies of logs of companies protected by other service providers were launched.
The first product born within the laboratory appeared in May 2025. This is a DosGate Autopilot module that, without the participation of an engineer, offers protection at the moment of attack, analyzing the flow of data in real time and forming point filtering rules.
For June 2025, the laboratory is again expanding the vector of its research, focusing on traffic analysis in two key areas. The first of these is application-level attacks, with a focus on testing the effectiveness of WAF-class solutions. The second area is the detection of frode traffic and analytics of advertising campaigns - in order to identify suspicious requests and assess the effectiveness of placements. The result of this research activity should be the Visibla platform. The first research results are planned to be presented in a month.
At the end of the laboratory tests of the Visibla platform, Servicepipe plans to launch a number of new tools focused on combating advertising frode. All of them will be platform compatible.
| Laboratory achievements are a clear example of the transfer of technologies from the scientific field to the commercial one. The first product born in the laboratory has already aroused considerable interest among potential customers and our partners. I am sure that the developed platform for analyzing traffic at the application level (L7) will also be of interest to the market, - said Mikhail Khlebunov, Product Director of Servicepipe. - For example, it will be useful for marketers and large advertisers, since Visibla and the tools working with it will be able to import replace the solutions of foreign vendors that have left the Russian market. |
