Surgeons are forced to take additional measures to reduce complications associated with bleeding in the area of ​ ​ the suture line, including applying additional hemostasis products, installing clips or applying new sutures. The Ethicon 4000 system is designed to help surgeons and improve the efficiency of stitching incisions.

Johnson & Johnson MedTech said that thanks to 3D staple technology, the Ethicon 4000 system reduces complications and additional surgical interventions by 23% compared to traditional^[1]
