2025: Yandex Identity Hub launch

Yandex B2B Tech has launched the Yandex Identity Hub security service. With it, business can configure secure access for enterprise users to their web applications using single sign-on technology and support for multi-factor authentication. The developer announced this on June 19, 2025. This will protect companies from compromising credentials and hacking employee accounts. The solution works on a SaaS model and can be used in organizations with different types of infrastructures: on-premises, cloud and hybrid.

Companies began to use hybrid infrastructure and SaaS services more often. Because of this, the techniques and tactics of intruders are changing. Security Operation Center specialists at Yandex Cloud analyzed the attacks for the first half of 2025 and found that 38% of incidents begin with compromise of accounts.

Attacks on hybrid infrastructures are becoming successful due to weak management of user passwords, accounts and access to corporate services. In response to this threat, we developed the Yandex Identity Hub. Like many other services of the company, it was developed by a team of security engineers with extensive experience in protecting Yandex corporate resources. Delegating user authentication to a cloud provider will allow companies to reduce the cost of operating IT systems related to managing access to corporate applications, "said Evgeny Sidorov, Director of Information Security at Yandex Cloud.
