Pelco IXE10C

The Schneider Electric company provided the 1.3-megapixel Pelco network cameras of the IXE10C series which support corporate Sarix technology in February, 2011 and use video analytics for intellectual recognition of disturbing events. A new series includes 4 IXE10C, IXE10C-OS, IXE10C-OSP and IXE10C-OCP IP cameras which provide transfer to two flows of video in the H.264 and M-JPEG formats with the resolution up to 1280х1024 px. and by update rate of the personnel up to 30 fps, support the WDR functions and autofocusings (ABF), have a disturbing input and output, the slot for cards of miniSD and can be powered from a source 24 VAC or on PoE technology. For setup and management of video from cameras on ip-network it is recommended to use software of Digital Sentry or Pelco Endura.

Thanks to the additional processor of image processing Extended Platform (EP), the highly sensitive 1/3-inch CMOS sensor and original Sarix technology, the new Pelco IXE10C IP cameras have high sensitivity and image resolution to 1280х1024 px. with the improved color rendition not only in standard conditions of video filming, but also at low illumination. So, the color camera IXE10C and also its modifications IXE10C-OS/C-OSP/C-OCP, are capable to create qualitative video at osveshchennost to 0.5 lx and activate an algorithm of accumulation of the personnel for increase in photosensitivity to 0.12 lx.

The web interface of all Pelco Sarix models allows to carry out remote setup and monitoring to 16 cameras at the same time via the standard web browser. Thanks to an open architecture of internal software, the IP camera of the IXE10C series can be integrated into the video surveillance systems created on the basis of corporate software of Pelco Endura of version 2.0 above, Digital Sentry 4.3 above or software applications of third-party developers. At creation of large-scale or geographically distributed video surveillance systems with unlimited number of cameras and other ip-devices of different producers we are recommended to use as a software platform of software of Milestone XProtect.

From each other ip-models of the IXE10C series differ in a set of algorithms of video analytics. At the same time all cameras use the module Pelco Analytics including 8 configured functions which allow to monitor movements of objects to fix the movement in the inadmissible direction and to notify the operator on emergency situations in a controlled zone. For example, IP cameras can work in the Abandoned Object mode in the afternoon, performing detection of the left objects, and for night observation it is possible to configure for them the Camera Sabotage mode at which attempts of a defocusing, closing/fill with color of a lens and other manipulations are detected.

Three modifications of the camera IXE10C are delivered with the expanded packets of video analytics of ObjectVideo (OV) Suite providing the most operating and exact control of a situation on different objects. The IXE10C-OS model is delivered with a packet of OV Security Suite and is capable to monitor emergence or the movement of objects in a controlled zone, to reveal attempts of unauthorized influences, etc. Along with it, the IXE10C-OSP IP cameras with the module OV Security Suite Plus allow to identify, for example, gadabouts, to fix the objects which crossed two set borders, etc. Additional opportunities provide IXE10C-OCP with the module OV Event Counting Suite which can conduct calculation of people and/or vehicles on an object, support functions for creation of diagrams and maintaining statistics.

IXE10C are capable to create video with the frame rate of 30 fps at permission to 1280х720 px. thanks to what they can be used for effective observation of fast-moving objects or technology processes. At the same time new IP cameras support the maximum frame rate at permission 720p both in H.264 format, and in M-JPEG (at earlier models at the same permission in H.264 frame rate was 12.5 fps). Besides, new products are capable to broadcast on ip-network at the same time two video flows with the different permission and speed which are selected by the operator depending on requirements of a video surveillance system.
