On December 10, 2019 the Schneider Electric company announced expansion of a line of uninterruptible power supply units Back-UPS Pro. Two UPS models: BR1200SI and the 720 Watts / 1.2 kVA and 960 Watts / 1.6 kVA BR1600SI will add a line of Back UPS Pro BR_MI (BR650MI, BR900MI, BR1300MI, BR1600MI)

According to the company, the Back-UPS Pro UPS models provide power supply and protection against impulse interference for computers both sensitive to audio - and video equipments in the conditions of the unstable power supply network.

BR1200SI and BR1600SI UPSes have higher power and the increased battery life. Both models are equipped with USB type C.

One of advantages of the updated lineup is the form of a signal output, at the exit - a net sinusoid that audio - and video equipments in the conditions of the unstable power supply network is especially important for protection sensitive.

Also important feature is protection of a data transmission line to 1 Gbps which allows to provide a high-quality power supply and to protect the equipment, to save files without falling of power and reduction of speed of the Internet at voltage surges.

All models have 6 euro sockets with battery support and also at the UPS there are two additional euro sockets with overvoltage protection.

The Back-UPS Pro models treat a segment linearly - interactive UPSes which generate a net sine signal during the work from the battery. Main advantage linearly - the interactive UPS is that it is capable to provide a normal power supply of loading at the increased or lowered power supply network tension (the most widespread type of malfunctions in domestic power supply networks) without transition to a standalone mode. As a result service life of rechargeable batteries lasts.

UPSes are issued in the form of separate devices in Tower form factor. Rather small sizes of devices do them insensitive to the location: they can be set as at home, and at office.

APC Back-UPS Pro: BR650MI, BR900MI, BR1300MI, BR1600MI

The Schneider Electric company, global manufacturer in the field of management of energy and automation, provided on November 6, 2019 upgraded version of bonus uninterruptible power supply units of APC Back-UPS Pro. Four UPS models: BR650MI, BR900MI, BR1300MI, BR1600MI which are a part of a line have a capacity 390W/650VA, 540W/900VA, 780W/1300VA, 960W/1600VA.

The APC Back-UPS Pro models provide high-quality power supply and protection against impulse interference for sensitive to audio - and the video equipment and computers in the conditions of the unstable power supply network.

2016: APC Back-UPS Pro BR1500G-RS

Back-UPS Pro BR1500G-RS is uninterruptible power supply unit from APC by Schneider Electric company.

According to information for June, 2016 the device organically combines in itself the qualities characteristic of powerful UPSes - reliability, a progressive tense of independent operation, a possibility of "hot swap" of batteries and conveniences - the minimum energy consumption at mains supply, existence of euro sockets, convenient controls and the evident LCD display.

APC Back-UPS Pro BR1500G-RS - uninterruptible power supply unit linearly - interactive type, expected the maximum load in 1500 BA (865 W). The model is capable to provide protection of workstations and peripheral equipment of the organizations, home electronics. For increase in battery life, the external battery is connected to the UPS. At the same time the device supports a possibility of "hot swap" of the accumulator without shutdown of devices. The UPS is equipped with the Ethernet and RJ-11 interfaces for communication line protection, the universal port serving at the same time for connection of an USB cable quality of a connector of consecutive connection.

APC Back-UPS Pro 500

APC Back-UPS Pro 500 is uninterruptible power supply unit for network equipment and the PC systems in which construction advanced Li-ion (Li-ion) batteries are used.

On June 26, 2013 the APC by Schneider Electric company announced the Back-UPS Pro 500 UPS.

Description

Back-UPS Pro 500 is equipped with means of remote control and optimization of consumption of energy resources network devices, allows to include/power off different network devices far off. The uninterruptible power supply unit of Back-UPS Pro 500 has a sufficient capacity for maintenance of operability of the PC systems and provides possibilities of automatic management through port of management of USB. The device is ideal for remote control a power supply and protection of Internet-applications of network gateways and the devices connected through them.

Functionality

New features of energy management provide economy of means, automatically switching off peripheral devices when they are not used. Two Smarts Outlets (smart exits) can be configured for protection against jumps, or against differences and shutdown of tension, using the back-up protective battery which expands operating time for backup only of those devices which need it.

Back-UPS Pro 500 APC by Schneider Electric provides to users longer term of service of the accumulator, it is more than control over a management system for energy and the best quality of protection of electric power supplies. The built-in web interface gives the chance of remote monitoring - function usually available in modules of UPS of a corporate class.

APC Back-UPS Pro BC650-RS

BC650-RS is uninterruptible power supply unit of initial level of a series of APC Back-UPS.

The Schneider Electric company in November, 2013 brings to the Russian market two new models of uninterruptible power supply units of initial level of a series of APC Back-UPS with a power of 500 and 650 VA (articles of BC500-RS and BC650-RS respectively).

New compact devices of a series of Back-UPS of BC are equipped with four euro sockets and the reusable safety lock.

The BC650-RS model is equipped with USB port for contact with the computer. It allows the user to control a status of uninterruptible power supply unit and to carry out setup of its parameters by means of the PowerChute Personal Edition program delivered with the device.

2012: APC Back-UPS Pro

Division of APC of Schneider Electric company expanded in the fall of 2012 a product line of bonus uninterruptible power supply units of the APC Back-UPS Pro series. The lineup was replenished the 900, 1200 and 1500 VA UPS (BR900G-RS, BR1200G-RS and BR1500G-RS respectively) equipped with euro sockets with energy saving function. Thanks to this design feature new Back-UPS Pro UPSes are capable to protect not only a computer hardware of the house and at office, but also to provide protection of power supply of home electronics and a retail store equipment. The UPS is not less than 5.5 minutes old of independent operation at loading 500 W. Besides, the additional external battery can be connected to the BR1500G-RS model.

The multifunction LCD APC Back-UPS Pro display helps to exercise control of operation of the UPS without use of the software, and control buttons allow to make inclusion and shutdown of sound signaling and the mode of energy efficiency. Among the major parameters displayed on it — the functioning mode (from network or from the battery), power consumption (percentage of maximum), the expected battery life, input and voltage output.

Existence of five or six sockets is provided in new models (depending on model), and one of them is the managing director (the computer is connected to it), and a part of the others — dependent, providing a power supply of peripheral devices. UPSes are supplied with technology of energy saving thanks to which at the time of switching off of the PC or its transition to sleep mode there is a shutdown of peripheral equipment. In case of need work of this function can be turned off easily.

The specialized software of PowerChute Personal Edition, protects data and the operating system, starting the configured process of automatic completion of work when the battery is close to discharging and also allows to change the UPS settings, saves information on electricity parameters in network and measures energy consumption of the connected equipment.
