Smartec ST-PC010EM of the EM Marine standard

New Smartec ST-PC010EM proximity cards of the EM Marine standard are intended for identification of personnel in control systems of access of the organization/enterprise and a time recording of personnel. New products belong to passive proximity to identifiers and work jointly with the readers EM Marine generating a radio signal at a frequency of 125 kHz. At the same time reading of proximity of the card is performed from distance to 10 cm. All Smartec cards are manufactured of strong plastic, have the standard sizes of 85х54х1.8 mm, are steady against influence of aggressive environments and outside electromagnetic fields. Besides, on their surface on both sides it is possible to place any teksto-graphic information, using different methods of printing.

The identifiers Smartec ST-PC010EM of the EM Marine standard represent the most economic solution for access control systems as they are much cheaper than access cards of other standards (Proximity, Mifare or iClass) at identical functionality. Besides, proximity of the Smartec card are protected from counterfeits, have the sufficient mechanical durability (are steady against bends) and also are not afraid of moisture, pollution and can be used in different climatic conditions, including in aggressive environments, in the temperature range from -35 °C to +60 °C.

During the work of proximity of the identifier the contactless technology of reading is used. The ST-PC010EM cards belong to the class of passive devices as they have no built-in power source.
