Energy Consulting passed to schedule system of the Retain resources

The ADE Professional Solutions company implemented schedule system of the Retain resources in Energy Consulting/Corporate IT Solutions. A system allows to optimize work of employees, to distribute resources on projects, to manage time expenditure and also to calculate the salary based on time which is actually spent for projects.

Energy Consulting works at the Russian market of SAP implementation since 2002. The company has one of the most qualified and numerous teams of SAP consultants. Today it totals about 170 employees, part of whom work far off from the different cities. Effectively to manage such state, a system easy in use was necessary powerful, but at the same time. For a month of testing Energy Consulting stopped on Retain.

Process of integration took two months. The module Retain Wallchart online acts as the tool for resource planning, account of time which is actually spent by employees is kept in the module Retain Time, and the module Retain Enterprise Reports is responsible for the expanded reporting.

The planning module in the graphical interface allows to appoint employees to projects, to control their loading, to make operational changes to appointments. Besides, with its help it is possible to generate reports on any indicators which are available in a system including such as: loading and availability of employees and so forth.

Account actually of a worked time is kept in the module Retain Time where the staff of the company fills out sheets of a time recording. Thanks to integration with a planning module data on projects at which employees are engaged are included in sheets automatically. There is also an opportunity to report for work on projects which were not in the plan. The sheets of working time completed with employees affirm heads who can leave comments on each of projects.

In a system several different ideas, including by employees and by projects are had. The reports created in Retain Time allow to obtain information on time which is actually spent for projects for the reporting period.

The module of the expanded reporting allows to create practically any reports with a design according to the standards admitted to the companies, to consolidate data from several bases Retain and also to include in reports a set of difficult settlement indicators.

As a result of the automation which is carried out to Energy Consulting companies the planning mechanism was considerably improved, need for paper sheets of working time disappeared, the production discipline increased that allowed to localize non-productive costs and to increase efficiency of use of personnel. Besides, the management had an up-to-date information, both on planned, and on the actual indicators that considerably increased efficiency of operational management. The data obtained from Retain are used for calculation of KPI of employees and an award.
