2025: Implementation of Novo Forecast Enterprise
On July 7, 2025, Russky Svet announced the start of a large-scale project to implement the Novo Forecast Enterprise system for digitalizing demand forecasting and supply chain management. The solution developed by Novo BI will transform the company's key business processes.
{{quote 'We have reached a point where traditional planning methods have stopped coping with our volumes and complex logistics. We have 140 branches and a million product items for July 2025. We need a system that can digitize processes while minimizing the impact of the human factor. We were looking for a technological partner who carries out digital transformation of business processes and trains employees, - said Aleksei Alexandrov, head of the analysis, forecasting and planning department of Russky Svet LLC. }}
The company has presented high technological requirements for the selection of the system and supplier. The most important requests were the use of ML technology and the possibility of daily recalculation of supply plans and orders by chain based on adjustments in the operational sales plan.
The implementation of Novo Forecast Enterprise addresses several strategic objectives:
- Improving the accuracy of demand forecasts based on algorithmic machine learning;
- Digitalization of routine processes;
- End-to-end data integration at all decision levels - sales, marketing, logistics;
- Reduction of time for approval of plans.
As a result of the implementation of the Russian Light solution, it plans to reduce the turnover period by 20%.
| The business operates under high uncertainty, and supply chains become one of the key risk areas. Errors in their management directly affect the efficiency of operations, competitiveness and financial results of companies. Some companies are forced to accumulate excess stocks, others are losing sales due to a shortage of key commodity positions. In this situation, supply management ceases to be a support function - this is already a strategic task. Without transparency, accurate data and modern digital tools, it becomes almost impossible to control stocks. Business needs systems that can aggregate disparate data, predict demand, adapt to market fluctuations - said Evgeny Nepeivoda, CEO of Novo BI. |
