Numina has completed a project to automate part release accounting on the platform ELMA365

2025: Implementation of ELMA365

BOAS, system integrator specializing in automation production processes, completed the project for the introduction of a digital system accounting for the release of parts based on the ELMA365 platform (applied ICAMES manufacturing solution) for Numina - one of the leading manufacturers of furniture components and interior solutions in Moldova. Elma announced this on July 30, 2025.

Together with the customer team, BOAS specialists analyzed all production areas - sawing, additive, edge coating, milling and manual operations - and built a solution architecture that takes into account features of work with CNC equipment, mobile terminals and vision systems. Special attention was paid to the provision of reliable and continuous fixation of production operations, even in conditions of unstable communication or manual intervention.

Within the framework of the project, key areas of digitalization were implemented:

• Vision system - industrial cameras record the passage of parts in real time and transmit data to the system, providing control even with hard-to-read markings;
• Recording of all production operations - information comes from machines, terminals, cameras and is aggregated in a single interface;
• KPI and salary calculation system - performance indicators of sites and employees are generated automatically, on their basis the salary is calculated;
• Integration with corporate systems - ELMA365 is associated with internal CRM Numina, Power BI, Telegram groups, as well as CNC and PLC equipment;
• Autonomy and fault tolerance - buffering data on equipment eliminates loss in case of server communication failures.

About 120 individual orders, more than 10,000 parts and 100,000 operations take place in production every day. Losing or unreliable accounting of even one part is very expensive for us. The introduction of the system allows us to minimize such risks, - said Olga Medvedeva, director of production at Numina.

As a result of the project, the company received a transparent, managed process with high degree of automation. By digitally capturing operations managed to significantly reduce the share of scrap, reduce costs and accelerate production cycle.

The main task of the first stage of the project is total recording of operations and their digitization. As of July 2025, we have already begun the second stage: automation of the factual analysis plan based on ELMA365, - said Dmitry Volkov, CIO Numina.
