MimoSecco

The main idea of model of cloud computing is providing access to different resources as necessary and payment of similar services in a work progress. This scheme combines in itself simplicity of access to services of provider and safe exchange and storage of confidential data.

The model of cloud computing provides access to critical data from mobile devices, smartphones or house jobs and can be used by both providers, and the large companies.

Since 2010 the Wibu-Systems company and its partners of CAS Software AG, the consolidation AIFB and EISS at Institute of Technologies of Karlsruhe (KIT) conducted work on the project, complex and flexible to implementation, in MimoSecco. The completed project in the working version will be presented at CeBIT exhibition 2011 at the stand of the Federal Ministry of Technologies and Economies of Germany (BMWi).

The similar Wibu-Systems project, together with Institute of Technologies and Mathematical Economy Fraukhoffer (ITWM), under the name S4Cloud was successfully implemented in 2010 for accomplishment of problems of licensing and protection of services in cloud environments.

The MimoSecco project affects two main aspects of ensuring data protection in "cloud": secure remote access to information from mobile devices and full control by the user of the data belonging to it. Both directions exclude interest and attraction to process of work with data of the third parties or providers of services. Based on problems of cloud computing, the MimoSecco model combines a software package of development for vendors and universal process of hardware protection for users. The complex of development of protection allows vendors to implement easily modules of security and digital rights management, on the one hand, in any device (the smartphone, a desktop or the server) and, with another, in the hardware clouds environment. In the form of a component of protection the electronic card of the identity certificate of the European Union (ID card), together with program protection of CodeMeterAct or CodeMeter USB hardware keys, SD cards or microSD-cards is used.
