Criticism
TechCrunch faces high extent of public control, and the staff of TechCrunch was periodically accused of different conflicts of interest. One of such examples is Oliver Starr (engl. Starr was possibly dismissed by Arrington, allegedly in connection with a conflict of interest which arose because of Starr who was the senior mobile analyst for The Guidewire Group.
