The house of Salvatore Ferragamo implements corporate solution of SAP

The Italian producer of clothes and luxury goods Salvatore Ferragamo was defined in the choice of the solution for unification of the IT system - SAP. The solution will become the base for further development of the company.

Preproject

During creation of the unified management processes in new regions and reduction of these processes in compliance with the international practice, the company faced considerable difficulties. For example, the shortage of reliable information and control generated unforeseen difficulties in a supply chain that led to disappearance of some popular goods from shelves of retail stores. Implementation

Using the solution for integration of processes of SAP NetWeaver Process Integration the company will connect the available systems to new SAP products, will adjust reliable exchange of processes and information between business applications and geographically dispersed divisions. The SAP component of NetWeaver Business Warehouse will act as a comprehensive information warehouse that will increase transparency of business and will help with decision making. Implementation of these solutions will become a basis of implementation of business strategy of Ferragamo on the scale of all enterprise and will create management model which will allow the company to develop business in new regions.

Start

Input in production operation of a new system of SAP took place in January, 2011, according to the diagram, at corporate office Ferragamo in Hong Kong. By the end of June, 2011 a system will be implemented in retail stores in Hong Kong and Macau. On Taiwan and in China it is going to be put into operation by the end of the year.
