2025: Third Party Hardware Support
AAM Systems continues to develop data center solutions and has introduced an updated version of the AAM-DC system designed to provide access control to server cabinet doors. The company announced this on August 21, 2025.
The AAM-DC architecture has been transferred to the component base of classic access control and control systems (MCDS).
The main improvements to the new version are:
- Flexibility of construction - the ability to use controllers, modules and terminals in various combinations.
- Scalability - Combine multiple AAM-DC-Master controllers into a real-time data synchronization cluster.
- Support for third-party equipment - compatibility with both AAM-DC-Lock and other manufacturers' electromechanical locks, with or without readers.
- Advanced identification capabilities - support for RFID cards, PIN codes, biometrics and two-factor authentication.
The company notes that the updated AAM-DC can become a reliable tool for building secure and convenient access control systems in data centers of any scale.
