The solution for Aastra BluStarTM video conferencing announced on February 28, 2011 within the Enterprise Connect exhibition which is taking place in Orlando notes the beginning of a new era in corporate communications. Desktop media the BluStar 8000i terminal combines HD a video conferencing with unified communications and business applications in the uniform convenient instrument of joint work.
Having the 13-inch touch display, Aastra BluStar 8000i provides video and high-quality audio-communications, and the video conferencing is provided in the HD 720p format at 30 frames per second. The quality of video is complemented with the excellent quality of HD of a sound provided using four voice microphones and three loudspeakers.
This high-quality desktop media the terminal increases personnel performance, helping the working groups to work jointly more effectively – both in case of interaction a point-to-point, and in case of carrying out multi-user video conferences up to 100 participants. There is enough only clicking of the button and, without requirement of reservation of conference rooms, user groups can gather jointly to work on documents, to consider and discuss projects. Using Aastra BluStar 8000i ensuring the general access to the files which are on the desktop PC is performed simply and conveniently, and the built-in Bluetooth interface facilitates data transmission from mobile devices.
In addition to opportunities of joint work of Aastra BluStar 8000i provides a range of the built-in business applications which can be started at the same time, as video conference. At the same time a half of the display can be occupied with a certain application of the user that allows to create the powerful business communication tool. The product integrates both UC applications from Aastra, and applications of the third producers.
The BluStar 8000i terminal has a user-friendly interface with simple management tools on the touch display. Biometric reading a fingerprint identifies users and does authentication simple and safe. The commands given to the terminal can also have voice identification, the device works in the different countries with different languages and tones.
The BluStar terminal can be easily deployed by media on communication frameworks of Aastra as the terminal SIP device supporting all functions of the platform and also two - or a tripartite video conferencing. Alternatively, media the BluStar 8000i terminal and the BluStar application server can operate as an autonomous product or be used as addition to the existing system of a video conferencing Aastra ViPr.
