ECI Telecom passes to the 1C: Enterprise 8.2 platform with implementation "Homnet: IFRS"

Homnet Consulting begins the project of transfer of an information system of ECI Telecom company to the 1C: Enterprise 8.2 platform. In the Russian department software products will be implemented: "1C: Accounting 8", "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8", "1C: Trade Management 8" and also "Homnet: IFRS" for automation of accounting according to GAAP.

ECI Telecom – global manufacturer of the equipment of an operator class. The Russian department of the company was open in 1997. The head office is located in Petah Tikva, Israel.

The information system of the Russian department ECI Telecom is constructed on the 1C: Enterprise 7.7 platform. Employees prepared the reporting according to GAAP for transfer to head department in the program "1C-Rarus: GAAP"; kept accounting and tax accounting – in "1C: Accounting 7.7"; operational and inventory control – in "1C: Trade and Warehouse 7.7"; payroll calculation – in the 1C: Payroll and personnel 7.7 program.

Over time the outdate functionality of the used solutions on the 1C: Enterprise 7.7 platform ceased to meet requirements of promptly extending company. In 2007 the Swarth Group Fund, together with other investors, acquired 100% of the shares ECI Telecom, having invested more than $500 million for project implementation of development of the company and improvement of the technical and scientific base.

Creation of a new information system in the Russian department became a natural stage of complex upgrade. The leadership team made the decision on transition to the modern platform "1C: Enterprise 8.2" and implementation of a new product for automation of accounting according to GAAP.

As a result of the held tender among partners of 1C Company as the contractor the Homnet Consulting company which specialists suggested to automate accounting according to GAAP using own development "Homnet was selected: IFRS".

Within the project specialists Homnet Consulting:

• will set the 1C: Enterprise 8.2 platform;
• will execute implementation of new versions of programs "1C: Accounting 8"; "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8"; "1C: Trade Management 8";
• will execute transfer of a remaining balance and reference books of "1C: Accounting 7.7" in "1C: Accounting 8";
• will perform transfer of the normative reference information and turnovers from "1C: Trade and Warehouse 7.7" in "1C: Trade Management 8";
• will perform works on transfer of the normative reference information and turnovers from "1C: Payroll and the personnel 7.7" in "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8";
• will set the solution "to Homnet: IFRS" for reporting according to GAAP.

Upon completion of the project specialists Homnet Consulting will provide training of staff of ECI Telecom in use of opportunities of a new system.
