SAP implementation of ERP on Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant was finished by Asteros without GMCS

The Asteros company completed the project on development of the ERP system of SAP on Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant. Let's remind that the project there began in 2007 the joint team of specialists of Asteros and GMCS. Consultants of Asteros implemented the complete solution which provides the integrated contract management, control and accounting of execution of budgets of the enterprise and also the investment management.

Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant – one of the largest enterprises of the Russian nuclear fuel cycle for production of fuel for power and research reactors and also lithium and connections on its basis. To increase efficiency of activity, in 2010 NZHK implemented an information system based on SAP solutions. The functionality of the solution covered practically all processes of the enterprise: purchase management, stocks, sale, production, economic planning, actual cost accounting and cost accounting, accounting and tax accounting.

NZHK is connected with the partners a large number of different contractual relations. Contractual accounting closely intertwines with budgeting and the investment management. Until recently these processes were conducted in the separate systems between which exchange was difficult and labor-consuming. Consultants of Asteros implemented the solution which allowed to integrate "seamlessly" contract management processes, budgeting and investments among themselves and with the operating ERP system processes.

During the project the following standard modules of SAP were implemented:

• case management (agreements) – SAP Records & Casemanagement (RCM);
• planning and control of budgets – SAP Funds Management (PSM-FM, BCS);
• investment planning and accounting – SAP Invest Management & Project System (IM, PS).

Today the staff of the investment departments, budgetings and treasuries of NZHK actively uses the following functionality of a system:

• maintaining a uniform agreement base with a possibility of planning on them of payment schedules and deliveries, trackings of the statuses, the history of performance of agreements, storage of images of primary documents;
• transition to the specific agreement from the corresponding accounting transaction in the ERP system;
• planning of annual and operational limits of the budget of cash flow and to the income and expenditure budget;
• automatic control of execution of annual limits of budgets in the course of approval of agreements, collecting of the fact according to budget items in real time;
• planning of investments, accounting and control of execution of investment projects.
