The SME supplier, Sorb Engineering LLC, which concluded the first offset agreement with the participation of the SME Corporation in December 2022, delivered to the customer Avtodor-Toll Roads LLC (part of the Avtodor group of companies) 100 thousand transponders - devices for contactless payments for travel on toll roads, and 10 thousand holders to them, totaling 120 million rubles. This batch of transponders was produced as part of the import substitution of products of Western manufacturers that left the Russian market. The SME Corporation announced this on September 4, 2025.

Thus, the investor supplier - Sorb Engineering LLC, which is a subject of SMEs, has fully fulfilled its obligations to the customer.

Summing up the implementation of the first offset agreement with an SME supplier, it can be noted that thanks to it, it was possible not only to successfully import foreign products, but also to give an impetus to the development of domestic production. Since the conclusion of the agreement, the entrepreneur has made investments in the enterprise in the amount of over 50 million rubles. He also tripled his staff and increased income for 2023-2024 to more than 912 million rubles, which is almost three times more than in the same previous period, "said Alexander Isaevich, CEO of the SME Corporation.

One of the conditions of the offset agreement is the obligation of the investor supplier to invest own or borrowed funds in production. For investments, Sorb Engineering used a preferential loan from SME Bank (a subsidiary bank of the SME Corporation), which also provided the company with an independent guarantee.

{{quote "The production of domestic transponders established in Russia contributes to increasing the technological sovereignty of our country, accelerating the development of high-speed road infrastructure and increasing the comfort of drivers, as well as stimulating medium and small businesses to further grow and scale. For us, the conclusion of offset agreements is one of the numerous measures taken to support SMEs in conditions of sanctions pressure, "said Alexander Sokolov, Deputy Chairman of the Board for Competitive Policy and Administrative Issues of the Avtodor State Company. }}
