2025: Product Announcement
In early September 2025, GE HealthCare introduced the Revolution Vibe computed tomography system, which provides the ability to capture high-quality images even in complex cases such as atrial fibrillation. The complex uses tools based on artificial intelligence.
According to GE HealthCare, the system is designed to conduct the most complex cardiac research. We are talking about patients with arrhythmias, strongly calcified coronary arteries and valves, stents or shunts. Revolution Vibe allows you to visualize the heart during one heart cycle. The complex forms high-definition images at a low radiation dose even for patients who do not have an electrocardiogram (ECG).
Effortless Cardiac Workflow technology is involved, which optimizes the system for scanning the heart: special AI algorithms are used to automatically select protocols and position the patient, which optimizes the time of the study and makes the platform easy to use for any employee - even for beginners or inexperienced laboratory assistants. TrueFidelity DL and SnapShot Freeze 2 tools help improve rendering quality.
| The system combines advanced technology with AI-based solutions for rapid and accurate diagnosis, as well as creating more comfortable conditions for patients. It is designed to provide medical professionals with the opportunity to provide the highest quality medical care even in the most difficult cases, says Jean-Luc Procaccini, president and CEO of GE HealthCare's molecular imaging and computed tomography division.[1] |
