The manufacturer of floor coverings Tarkett has completely completed the migration from the corporate SAP system to the domestic solution "1C:ERP Enterprise Management 2." The project was implemented by assino as a system integrator, covering all critical business processes of the enterprise from production to financial accounting. The successful completion of the implementation was reported by representatives of the assino on September 18, 2025.
The digital transformation has affected key areas of Tarkett's activities in Russia, including production processes, supply chain, logistics operations, sales, financial planning and accounting reporting. Large-scale migration required the transfer of SAP archive data over a 15-year period of operation.
As part of the project, specialists integrated seven external systems with a new ERP platform, including solutions for customer relationship management, business analytics and logistics complexes. More than 300 employees of the company of various divisions work with the updated information system every day.
The decision to replace SAP with a Russian alternative was dictated by the critical risks that arose after the German vendor left the domestic software market. The termination of official technical support and the release of updates posed a threat to the operational stability of the enterprise.
The growing costs of maintaining an outdated system and dependence on external contractor services slowed down the pace of development of the company's IT infrastructure. The lack of guaranteed security updates increased the vulnerability of corporate data and business processes.[1]
