Serverspace (ITG International Cloud SME) announced the launch of the Web Application Firewall (WAF) on September 18, 2025. This service protects web applications from key vulnerabilities, including SQL injections, cross-site scripts (XSS) and other threats from the OWASP Top 10 list.

According to market analysts, over 600 million web attacks were recorded in Russia in the first half of 2025. A significant part of the attacks is aimed at vulnerabilities in web applications, this indicates the systemic nature of the problem and confirms the need for specialized solutions to reduce it.

To solve the problem, Serverspace has integrated the WAF service into the control panel, which works in conjunction with CDN. Connecting to it takes several minutes and does not require difficult configuration: users can immediately add traffic filtering and use ready-made security rules. Among the capabilities of WAF: protection against attacks on the top 10 OWASP (SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, etc.), reducing the load on servers by filtering malicious traffic and flexible setting of rules for the tasks of a specific project.

With the launch of WAF, we offer customers a tool to protect digital services. The service is charged by the number of requests: write-off occurs for every 10,000 requests.
