Initially, analytics in MTS was built on the Decuctor analytical system - the predecessor of the Loginom platform. The Deductor has been in use since 2016, and Excel was used for additional data processing.

Since the Deductor was created much earlier, in conditions of other technological capabilities, over time the system began to limit the development of analytics:

• Disparate projects and complex data connection structures made reporting more difficult.
• Linking to workplaces interfered with collaboration and slowed the exchange of information.
• The technical limitations of the Deductor with data volumes exceeding 4 GB led to a drop in performance.
• Complex transfer of projects between employees due to an inconvenient access and routing system.

As a result, labor costs, analytics preparation time and business process manageability were increased.

In 2021, MTS Belarus launched a pilot project with the Loginom platform - a low code platform developed as a successor to Deductor.

The migration of analytical projects from Deductor to the Loginom platform took place in several stages:

• Manually transfer existing projects from Deductor to Loginom with adaptation of their structure.
• Prepare and complete a centralized database.
• Automation and setting of individual analytical tasks for routine execution.

Initially, the migration concerned mainly retail, but over time it became obvious that Loginom copes with a much wider range of tasks. The list of data sources has expanded - now databases from isolated projects, such as anti-fraud, revenue guarantee and elements of corporate information storage, are connected to the platform.

In addition, the scope of Loginom has grown significantly:

• Preparation of various statistics on subscribers with deep detail.
• Calculation of service margin.
• Backup of statistics on the operation of anti-fraud systems with a short storage horizon.
• Analysis of individual key events.

The use of Loginom in the company has gone from local tasks in the field of credit pipeline (1-2 users, 1 data source) to a full-fledged data manager with 10 users and more than 5 data sources.

The introduction of Loginom has become a qualitative leap in analytics for MTS Belorus - from manual and disparate operations to a centralized, automated and scalable data management system.

Implementation of the platform in MTS Belorus led to the emergence of special analytical solutions.

Project "Showcase":

• Does not perform its own calculations, but accumulates the results of the work of many other projects.
• Acts as a central point for operational process evaluation.
• It is a visualizer (thanks to cubes).
• Simplifies data access and reduces the burden on users who no longer need to switch between dozens of separate scenarios.

Daily Project:

• Combines a large number of regular calculations into one large data processing chain.
• Allows you to get rid of the manual launch of many separate tasks.
• Ensures stable operation of processes at different intervals - from several times a month to several times an hour.

Project "Evaluation of profitability of telecom component":

• One of the most complex and resource-intensive scenarios implemented in Loginom.
• Includes 200 + script nodes and working with table batches in the database.
• Consumes more than 13 GB of RAM in peak loads.
• Two preparation projects are started before the main calculation, which improves the quality and accuracy of the final analysis.
