The center of innovations and information technologies of Federal notarial chamber protects notaries

"Center of Innovations and Information Technologies" fund at Federal notarial chamber and Aladdin R.D. company implemented the complete solution "Software Set on Data Protection for the Notary".

Project

The decision on implementation in activity of notaries of Russia of the EDS and the organizations of information exchange of a notariate with public authorities of Russia is performed within implementation of the program of upgrade of institute of an off-budget notariate of Russia. In October, 2010 the "Center of Innovations and Information Technologies" Fund carried out research according to the analysis of technical capability of providing the acting notaries of Russia with means of formation of the EDS and confidential information protection. During the analysis technical requirements to the solution were defined and also the economic case of implementation is carried out. In November, 2010 the "Center of Innovations and Information Technologies" fund created and brought into operation Certification center of a notariate of Russia as a basis for ensuring legally significant electronic document management.

Requirements to implementation

The federal notarial chamber, based on results of researches of Center of Innovations Fund, formulated the following requirements to solution providers for implementation of the EDS:

• ensuring the protected storage of private keys and certificates of the EDS of notaries;
• prevention of unauthorized access to confidential information in each workplace of the notary;
• existence of certificates of regulating authorities on all offered products;
• complexity of the solution, the simple and clear interface at deployment and use of products.

The Aladdin R.D. company developed and proposed to the customer the solution "Software Set on Data Protection for the Notary". The following products were its part:

• the certified means of protecting of confidential information of Secret Disk 4 Workgroup Edition;
• the certified means of authentication and storage of key information — the eToken PRO USB key (Java);
• system of cryptographic information protection of CryptoPro CSP of version 3.6.
