2025: Attracting ₽50 Million Investments

In early October 2025, the Friendly VC venture capital fund announced a decision to invest ₽50 million in SmartSi. The company is developing smart pedestrian crossings iCrossWalk. The investment is aimed at scaling road safety technology. The system has proven its effectiveness in reducing accidents at pedestrian crossings to 82%. The announcement of the deal took place as part of the Moscow Startup Summit.

iCrossWalk is an intelligent system for improving road safety. The technology warns drivers of pedestrians at unregulated crossings. The system is capable of recognizing various traffic violations. The development plans are finalizing the functionality for automatic recording of violations by scooter drivers and other means of individual mobility. Automatic sending of fines to violators will be the next stage in product development.

SmartSi products have already been installed in 50 cities of Russia. Geography covers 35 subjects of the federation. This year, the first smart transitions appeared in Uzbekistan. International expansion demonstrates the export potential of Russian development. The system allows you to reduce the accident rate at transitions to 82%. Reducing risks and security risks is a key result of the technology.

The company's immediate plans include the registration of a parent company in Moscow. Moving a legal address to the capital will facilitate access to investments and partners. Applying for residency in the Moscow Innovation Cluster is included in the list of priorities. Resident status will give tax breaks and other preferences. Attracting additional investments from the Moscow Venture Fund is scheduled for the near future.
