2025: Complex Launch
The Hydrostroy company commissioned a fish processing plant in the village of Ozersky, Korsakovsky District, Sakhalin Region. The facility was built within the framework of the federal investment quota program. The volume of investments amounted to ₽3,7 billion. Construction took one year. The complex is located on an area of 10 thousand square meters. The company is capable of processing up to 700 tons of raw materials per day. Freezing equipment allows you to store up to 3 thousand tons of products at a time. Production lines provide freezing of large volumes of fish.
The plant will produce a wide range of deep-processing ice cream products. Herring, pollock, cod and Pacific herring serve as raw materials. It is planned to produce up to 30 tons of fishmeal per day from production waste. It is planned to produce fish oil. Modern packaging technology will increase the shelf life of finished products to two years. Sealed packaging retains the quality of fish for a long time.
The plant will employ 250 people. Mostly jobs will be received by residents of the region. Graduates of local universities and technical schools will be able to find a job at the enterprise. Job creation supports the economy of the rural area. Young specialists get the opportunity to apply knowledge in modern production.
Together with the launch of the complex, hydraulic structures in the water area were reconstructed. The depths are increased from 2.5 meters to 5.5 meters. The deepening will allow up to 200 tons of aquatic biological resources to be delivered to the shore at a time.
