Completing High Performance Cluster Transition at IXcellerate Data Center
ITGLOBAL.COM completed the migration of cloudy provider the Serverspace client infrastructure to a new high-performance cluster in. data center IXcellerate The solution is built on the the Russian basis of development - a hyperconverged platform and, vStack HCP which ITPOD servers provided threefold performance growth with a 35% reduction in cost of ownership. The migration was driven by growing application requirements for disk performance and computing resources. The previous cluster on the second generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors has reached scaling limits, which has become reflected in the work of highly loaded databases and web applications.
The created infrastructure is built on ITPOD-SL201-D24R-NV-G4 servers with fifth generation Intel Xeon 6526Y Scalable processors, 32 slots for installing RAM DDR5 and NVMe drives with direct connection to the motherboard. This architecture minimizes latency and provides high performance for distributed storage.
A key feature of the solution is the hyper-converged vStack HCP platform, which combines computing resources, data storage and network infrastructure into a single complex. The platform demonstrated high fault tolerance in crash tests: with a consecutive failure of two nodes, the system retained the availability of services, and performance decreased only during automatic rebalancing, by less than 10%.

The cluster network architecture is implemented on 25 gigabit adapters, which is critical for a hyperconverged infrastructure. Two independent adapters on each server provide up to 100 Gb/s per node for software-defined storage, virtual machine data, and cluster service traffic.
Capacity expansion
An additional location, Moscow, 5th Gen Intel, has become available in the Serverspace control panel. The capacity is designed for projects with increased performance and fault tolerance requirements. Serverspace announced this on October 2, 2025.
Servers installed in ITPOD-SL201-D24R-NV-G4 racks and includes processors Intel Xeon 6526Y, 64 GB RDIMM DDR5 modules at 5600 MHz, hybrid storage with NVMe drives (960 GB and 1920 GB, Dapustor), and Intel E810 network adapters with 25Gb support (Ethernet SFP28, OCP 3.0).
The infrastructure is deployed in. data center IXcellerate Moscow South Campus (MOS5) It complies with standard Tier III, supports redundancy of all key systems, multi-channel connections to carriers and uses an energy efficient architecture with free cooling technologies.
