Avito, with the support of BI.ZONE, has improved phishing detection by almost 2 times. BI.Zone announced this on October 2, 2025.

Avito's team continuously improves the platform's security metrics, including combating phishing, malware distribution and other cases of misuse of the company's brand.

Among the key tasks, Avito and BI.ZONE Brand Protection identified the following:

  • Protection against phishing attacks;
  • Monitoring of frode schemes on shadow resources;
  • Control over the safety of personal data of customers and employees;
  • Identifying forgotten tokens and secrets on open platforms for development;
  • Protection against malicious attacks. ON

During the work, the companies constantly optimized the approach to verification, domains the process of blocking phishing sites and improved the algorithms search for illegitimate activity. As a result, the number of frodal resources decreased by 85% over 5 years. At the same time, the time required to block such sites was reduced by 25%.
