Content

The Integrity Vision company and JSC Delta Bank completed an implementation project of the information system IBM Maximo for management of mortgage property of clients of bank.

About the Project

Together with active development of own portfolio of the credits of bank, it was required to increase significantly the level of control of management of mortgage property and to improve discipline in the course of monitoring of collateral contracts.

The project is begun in September, 2010 and is complete within 35 working days. During the project software licenses IBM Maximo Asset Management and IBM Tivoli Service Request Manager and also implementation services of the solution "Management of Mortgage Property" were provided to the customer.

Selection

When choosing the platform the customer was guided, first of all, by requirements to scalability opportunities: the solution was created for management of pledges of clients of corporate business with the subsequent replication on retail clients. Performance and reliability were important criteria during creation of a management system for pledges also. As a part of primary information was imported from the existing banking system, for reliability of data integration the decision to use a modern method of web services was made.

Solution

The project team was faced by the following tasks: provide to employees Delta of Bank the necessary consolidated information for management of mortgage property, provide interaction of users of a system according to regulations within processes of management of mortgage property, install the mechanism of tracking of quantitative and quality standards of processes of management of pledges. Within the project business processes of credit service, registration of mortgage property, management and control of insurance and collateral contracts, mailing of notifications, check of mortgage property, management of insured events, pledge closing were automated.

Results

Using the IBM Maximo system procedures of conducting checks of pledges, collecting and distribution of information on pledge agreements, the credit and insurance and also assessment of processes of management of mortgage property were automated.

As a result of transition to a system based on IBM Maximo Delta Bank received effective tools for management of mortgage property which easily adapt to new requirements of business. For ensuring centralized operation with accounts of users of a system the existing register of users in the Active Directory was used, and management of access rights took place using the built-in mechanisms in a system Maximo.

The project is implemented by specialists of IBM in cooperation with Integrity Vision company and the Bank Delta command.

Objectives

At present business processes of management of mortgage property of clients of corporate business are transferred to a new system. Delta Bank carries out the analysis of wishes of users of new software to plan further development of a product. Since February, 2011 it is going to replicate the solution for management of all pledges of bank. Within the project training of all project team members of the customer and key users of a system was provided.

Opinion

"We successfully develop a portfolio of the credits for legal entities and physical persons. Besides, in the summer of 2010 our assets were replenished in total with 30 thousand new credit accounts from Ukrprombank, - Sergey Zorin, the Chief information officer Delta of Bank noted. - Significant increase in assets will allow our bank to rise by one qualitative step in the market of banking services of Ukraine. In many respects it will be thanks to investments into infrastructure which for us acquired special relevance now".
