2025: Appointment as CEO of Spartak Football Club
In October 2025, the Moscow football club Spartak appointed 60-year-old Sergei Nekrasov as the new general director of the club. The former vice-president of Gazprombank replaced Oleg Malyshev, who had been working in this position since the summer of 2023. Prior to his appointment as general director, Nekrasov did not hold senior positions in professional sports clubs.
The statement of "Spartak" notes that Sergei Nekrasov played in football corporate tournaments and repeatedly participated in veteran tournaments with club legends.[1]
