In Gazprom dobycha Astrakhan transport monitoring system based on GLONASS is implemented

The M2M Telematics group announced end of one of the largest implementation projects of a monitoring system and control of transport based on GLONASS in the oil and gas industry. In vehicle fleet of Gazprom dobycha Astrakhan company the equipment of GLONASS equips 555 vehicles. In 2011 retrofitting of 300 more units of transport is planned.

The implemented monitoring system and controls of transport based on GLONASS allowed to achieve increase in safety of transportation of goods, full control of movement of transport and observance of schedules. At the same time the company significantly reduced operating expenses of the park of the equipment, including expenses on fuel and lubricants.

At the moment the navigation and information system controls transport of three motorcades: passenger, passenger; cargo and technology transport.

Were installed the exchange service stations M2M-Cyber GLX, the including sets of a voice communication, the sensor of operation of the engine and the disturbing button on all vehicles. The fuel level sensors and flowing flowmeters allowing to keep track of dynamics of a consumption of fuel and lubricants during its work are also installed on the special equipment. In turn, in the Administrative center, transport department, industrial complex and management of corporate protection Gazprom dobycha Astrakhan the dispatching jobs equipped with the software packages CyberFleet are set.

Thanks to an installed system of monitoring and management managers of the enterprise can plan use of transport and quickly react to emergency or emergency situations. Besides, the monitoring system allows to create a complete packet of traveling documents and also data for the standard and specialized reports giving the broad picture of use of transport at the enterprise and in separate divisions.

As noted, according to the results of system implementation in Gazprom dobycha Astrakhan vehicle fleet the effective management of transport increased – will reach control over observance of routes of the movement and a real run of the equipment, fuel consumption was significantly cut, labor discipline and quality of work raised.
