Education

Oleg Maidanovich graduated from the Rostov Higher Command and Engineering School of Missile Forces named after Chief Marshal of Artillery M.I. Nedelin, Military Academy of Strategic Missile Forces named after Peter the Great, as well as the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

Military service

He served in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in command positions at cosmodromes Baikonur and Plesetsk.

2025: Appointment as CEO of TsENKI

On September 19, 2025, the state corporation Roscosmos announced that Oleg Maidanovich had been appointed to the post of General Director of the Center for the Operation of Ground Space Infrastructure Facilities (TsENKI). He has been working in this organization since 2016.

The Roscosmos report says that Maidanovich was directly involved in the preparation and launch of launch vehicles from cosmodromes, Baikonur Plesetsk and.
