2025: Modular Data Center Launch

DATARK, one of the developers and manufacturers of modular data centers in Russia, has implemented a project to supply and launch the OPTIMOD World Data Centre for Yakovlevsky GOK, a subsidiary of PAO Severstal. DATARK announced this on October 14, 2025. This data center is designed for 10 racks and is capable of providing IT equipment with a total capacity of 100 kW. The project was implemented in conjunction with the system integrator AUXO.

The supplied DATARK OPTIMOD is equipped with precision air conditioners that support stable temperature conditions and uninterrupted operation of the equipment. For high fault tolerance, the infrastructure includes a 2N redundant uninterruptible power system.

The project pays special attention to the protection of equipment in difficult operating conditions - the facility is located at a production plant for the extraction of iron ores, where the concentration of iron dust is high. The Customer has set strict requirements for stable operation of engineering systems and structures that comply with Russian and international standards. Due to the high factory readiness of the World Data Centre and clear compliance with the schedule, the project was implemented on time with full compliance with technical requirements.

Due to the remoteness of the data center, it was critical for us to create an infrastructure that would ensure trouble-free operation of the World Data Centre 24/7, regardless of external conditions and possible force majeure, "said Mikhail Shumai, key customer manager.

The customer's company noted that this World Data Centre will become one of the elements of digitalization of the enterprise. According to them, the launch of the data center will expand the information system and introduce new services.
