Rostelecom will provide to divisions of FSO of Russia telecommunication services on 356 million rubles.

Rostelecom in 2011 will provide to structural divisions of Federal Guard Service of the Russian Federation (FSO of Russia) telecommunication services for the total amount over 356 million rubles. Lease of inter-chip digital links, creation of virtual private networks (VPN) and also operational maintenance and ensuring functioning of the equipment and means of communication are among such services.

The company acquired the right to sign the relevant government contracts based on the held open competitions. According to the senior vice president of Rostelecom Victor Iudin, "thanks to long-term experience, the widest geography of the fiber optic network and use of the most modern equipment, Rostelecom can guarantee the highest quality and reliability of the provided services. It is the defining factor of trust which for many years is put in us by key federal and regional agencies".
