2025: Tengri Data Presentation

Postgres Professional on October 16, 2025 introduced the Tengri Data solution. By 2028, the company plans to occupy about 50% of the market for unified data platforms built on domestic vendor solutions.

The solution allows you to process and analyze data with a total volume of up to 10 petabytes, which gives large organizations access to large-scale analytics without restrictions.

Unlike many similar solutions based on Greenplum, the Tengri Data platform is developed on the OpenLakehouse paradigm. It uses Compute and Storage and stores data in S3 Object Storage for flexibility, scalability, and high performance regardless of workload and number of analysts. In turn, this reduces cost of ownership (TCO) and improves ROI.

At the same time, the platform supports a familiar technology stack for specialists: SQL language for data transformation, Python language for scripting, machine learning and artificial intelligence, as well as standard connection methods. This allows companies to use Tengri Data without the cost of retraining employees or rebuilding business processes.

The platform has been successfully tested in Postgres Pro partner test environments and is being implemented in pilot projects with early customers.

The data platform market is considered by the company as strategically promising against the background of projected rapid growth: according to J'son & Partners Consulting, the average annual growth rate until 2028 will be over 30% of the 2024 level, and the potential market volume of vendor solutions of this class in Russia is estimated at 10.1 billion rubles. By 2028, Postgres Professional plans to occupy at least 50% of the license market for this segment.
