In recent years the company actively extended, the product line and the number of new clients considerably increased. "Kraft's garden" works with such large retail chain stores of Moscow and Russia as Auchan, "SUBWAY", Giperglobus, "OBI", Vester, Roundabout, "The world of hobbies", Leroy Merlin. Any gross error at a complete set and packaging of the order could lead to return of all order back for a warehouse therefore the problem of ensuring high accuracy of selection of the order was extremely relevant.

Effective processing of loads in a modern warehouse with a total area of 5000 sq.m. using old accounting technologies was it is impossible. For ensuring high-quality information and technical support of business processes in a warehouse, the company management made the decision on implementation of the WMS system. Implementation of WMS pursued the aims to increase quality of assembly of orders and quality of accounting of goods, to reduce number of staff, to optimize intra warehouse flows, to reduce production costs.

For development and project implementation the IT Scan company was selected, - the known Russian integrator of the WMS systems. As the platform of automation of a warehouse the warehouse management system Warehouse Management Suite based on 1C 8.x is defined. System implementation was performed on the basis of standard project approach. During the project engineering of business processes of a warehouse, integration with the corporate accounting system 1C: Enterprise 8.1 were executed, training and testing of personnel of a warehouse is made.

The warehouse of Garden Kraft company is equipped with frontal, stuffed and shelf racks, at a zone of an expedition and shipment there is a floor storage of transport units of ready orders. Processing of large loads is performed using loaders and electric stackers. Small-pieces products are processed manually in a zone of control and packaging of orders. In the WMS system support of a zone of defects and a zone of a quarantine in which Inventories which implementation is prohibited for a number of reasons are stored is configured.

The specifics of business of Garden Kraft company demanded considerable adaptation of the implemented system under specific features of processes of the automated warehouse. So, for example, process of management of shipment of the completed orders in a warehouse management system was completely adapted on requirements of the Customer. During implementation of data exchange with a corporate information system additional integration with control block transport logistics is executed. Shipment of orders happens in compliance to the regulations determined by logisticians in CIS. The report with orders which need to be shipped during change is transferred to the responsible in a shipment zone. On scanning of number of the vehicle in the sheet of shipments, on a data collection terminal tasks for shipment of transport places by all orders which need to be placed in this machine arrive. One more feature of this project, is a change of technology of management of selection and packaging of orders for network clients during the work with sets. Now a system automatically considers and controls collecting and packaging of orders taking into account such requirement as the stated number of basic packagings in set/a set.

Summing up the results of the first months of commercial operation of the WMS system, the logistics director of Garden Kraft company Sukharev Oleg considers that the most significant changes in work of a warehouse were shown in increase in efficiency of build process of orders. Due to introduction of address storage and routing the speed of selection of orders considerably increased. At the same time the accuracy of a complete set of orders grew that is especially important during the work with network customers. It is also necessary to note that the system developer implemented all changes in implementation of processes necessary for effective work of a warehouse.
