Biography

1999-2020

Timur Kozintsev graduated from the Faculty of Economics of Lomonosov Moscow State University with a degree in economic theory, and then graduate school there. In 1999 he received the degree of candidate of economic sciences. From 2014 to 2015 studied at London Business School.

Since 2015, he served on the board and board of directors of DenizBank, and also headed the risk management service. After the sale of DenizBank in 2020, he led the Sberbank International block, responsible for business development in the CIS and Central-Eastern Europe and contributing to the transformation of the bank's international business model based on a technological partnership.

Before joining MTS Fintech, Timur Kozintsev worked for about 12 years in the Sberbank group, where he went to the managing director. His responsibilities included overseeing international business in Turkey, including the integration of DenizBank into the Sberbank group.
