2009: Output to the WMS Kit Batch market
The IT Scan company announced in September, 2009 an output to the market of a set of the professional software and the specialized equipment WMS Kit Batch intended for complex automation of an inventory control and management of key warehouse transactions.
WMS Kit Batch will be interesting to the organizations aiming to provide fast automation of material accounting in a warehouse using the most modern warehouse technologies without considerable expenses and labor costs.
Developers believe that the new set for automation of a warehouse will be demanded in the sector of the small and medium market thanks to the cost, low for the segment (150,000 rubles including VAT), profitable license policy and also a possibility of independent quick start in a warehouse.
Are a part of a set:
- The warehouse management system Warehouse Management Suite based on 1C 8.0.8.1 in the facilitated complete set (using free DBMS Microsoft SQL Server of 2005 Express Edition);
- Unified, not requiring additional modifications, the interface of integration with "1C Trade management 8", providing automatic directory synchronization and documents between systems;
- Industrial Cipher 8300L-2MB betch-terminal, accumulator + interface support of USB;
- Thermo-transfer printer of the Godex EZ-1100+ labels.
The functionality of light version of the warehouse management system which is included in the package allows to implement technology of address storage and barcoding, to provide effective accounting of goods, to provide faultlessness of accomplishment of the main warehouse transactions due to application of data collection terminals, to keep lot-based account, control of expiration dates, to carry out a selective inventory without stopping of work of a warehouse.
Support of management of selection of requests from a warehouse using different optimization algorithms on tasks for data collection terminals is executed. Independence of expert knowledge of pickers and a possibility of assessment of labor productivity of personnel is provided.
Installation of a warehouse management system and the equipment from the user does not require existence of specialized knowledge due to simplicity of connection of betch-terminals and existence of the configured install packet, and the intuitive interface allows to master work with a system quickly. The openness of the software and existence of the built-in free report generator should exclude expenses on ownership of a system.
