2024: Revenue growth by 9% to 6.2 billion soms
As TAdviser found out in mid-October 2025, the largest oil and gas company in Kyrgyzstan, KyrgyzNeftegaz, received revenue of 6.2 billion soms in 2024 (about 5.75 billion rubles at the exchange rate as of October 20, 2025). For comparison, a year earlier, the figure was 5.72 billion soms. Thus, an increase of about 9% was recorded.
In 2024, KyrgyzNeftegaz showed a net profit of 2.62 billion soms (2.43 billion rubles), which is 31% higher than the approved budget. The accounting documentation notes that in 2023 the company's profit was at about the same level.
The company in 2024 produced 177 thousand tons of oil, which is 6.9 thousand tons (or 3.8%) less than in 2023. At the same time, the target was 180 thousand tons: thus, the plan was implemented by 98.3%. At the same time, the plan for the production of natural gas was exceeded: with an expected volume of 25 million cubic meters, 28.2 million cubic meters (112.9%) were actually produced, which is 3.1% more than in 2023.
According to the Economist.kg resource, referring to the company's brief annual report, as of December 31, 2024, KyrgyzNeftegaz had 1,913 securities owners. The main shareholder is the State Agency for the Management of State Property under the Cabinet of Ministers with a share of 86.17%. The head office of the company is located in the city of Kochkor-Ata, Jalal-Abad region. The company has about 2.76 thousand employees.
KyrgyzNeftegaz produces in the Zhalal-Abad and Batken regions of the Kyrgyz Republic, develops other discovered fields, and also conducts geological exploration in the oil and gas regions of the country in order to increase the resource potential and increase hydrocarbon production.[1]
