In ASIS two documents are developed for transfer in American national institute on standardization (ANSI). In two standards experts will formulate, first, criteria for evaluation of performance. Secondly, the private security companies will find the guide to development of own organization structure in them. The purpose of innovations - ensuring quality of service (QoS) and transparency of work. And all this according to "the international code of behavior for private suppliers of security services".^[1]

The first document which is called "The system of management for work of the private security companies" is aimed at providing compliance of the company to statutory and recommendatory requirements. Including work of private security and military counteractors in those conditions when requirements of laws are leveled by armed conflict or emergency is described.

The second standard, "Assessment and compliance audit of a system of the menedzhement for ensuring quality of work of the private security companies", contains recommendations for the third parties performing audit and certification of private service providers of security. In the document processes of internal and external audit of work of the private security companies are described.

These two documents are designed to make work of security providers more responsible. On the other hand, they are also directed to improvement of their business. Sigel wants that these standards made business sense. Compliance "To the code of behavior …" and to service quality regulations - competitive advantages. And the formalized procedure of internal audit - the important managerial tool. When there is a coordinate system set by the standard, the company can objectively estimate own performance, its growth or degradation.
