Pelco IM10-E

ARMO-Systems provided in March, 2011 the IP camera with the built-in video analytics of IM10-E "day/night" of the Pelco brand which is equipped with an anti-vandal dome casing and reliably works at temperatures from-20 to +50 °C. Innovation is created based on Sarix technology, uses 1/3" the CMOS sensor with WDR and non-interlaced scan, creates and broadcasts on IP channel one or at the same time two video flows in the M-JPEG and/or H.264 formats with the resolution up to 1280х1024 px. at the minimum osveshchennost up to 0.5/0.25 lx. In addition to it, the dome IP camera is supplied with the zoom lens of 2.8-10 mm with autofocusing, the input and output has audio and supports PoE technology. Setup of the camera can be performed via the web browser, and for its administration as a part of the video system it is possible to use software of Pelco Endura, Milestone XProtect and other producers.

High resolution of the image with quality of HDTV, a realistic color rendition in low-light-level conditions and highly effective video signal processing is reached due to use in the camera highly sensitive 1/3" the CMOS sensor with non-interlaced scan and original Sarix technology. Thanks to use of the mobile IK-filter the dome IP camera is capable to create the color/black-and-white image at osveshchennost to 0.5/0.25 lx, and in the conditions of especially small illumination of IM10-E activates an algorithm of accumulation of the personnel at which its photosensitivity increases up to 0.12/0.03 lx.

For optimization of network resources of a video surveillance system the dome Pelco IM10-E model can transfer one or at the same time two flows of video configured with different permission, picture frequency, bitrate and structure of GOP (Group of Pictures). So, the dome IP camera allows to set an image shrinking algorithm — H.264 or M-JPEG, permission to 1280x1024 px. and frame rate is up to 30 fps. At resolution of 1280x1024 px. (1.3 MRh) the maximum speed of change of the personnel in H.264 will be 8 fps, in M-JPEG – 20 fps whereas at 1280х720 px. (HDTV 720p) picture frequency from the IP camera will be 12.5/30 fps, respectively.

Allows to increase informational content of the image with IM10-E the sound synchronized with a video series. For the organization of bidirectional audio communication the IP camera has audio an input and an exit to which it is possible to connect the optional microphone and the active loudspeaker, and performs audiotransfer in the "half-duplex" or "full duplex" modes. Thanks to the small sizes of the body and support of a power supply on Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology, the dome IP camera can be installed on an object where it is necessary, and allows to exclude expenses on acquisition and laying of the additional feed cable.

Intellectual opportunities of Pelco IM10-E are provided by the video analytics module which is built in cameras with a basic packet of Pelco Camera Sabotage. Using analytical algorithms, the dome IP camera analyzes the broadcast video flows and monitors all changes in a frame. In case of attempts of fill with color/closing of a lens, its defocusing, lead of the IP camera from a mounting surface or unauthorized change of the direction of observation, IM10-E reports about it to the operator. Such security measures allow to involve new dome models in video surveillance systems of objects with a high probability of illegal acts, including the subway, stations, etc. and also in places with unlimited/free access.

Simultaneous monitoring up to 16 Pelco IP cameras of the Sarix series, including the new dome IM10-E models, within a single network can be performed by the operator far off via the standard web browser. Besides, the dome IP camera is integrated into the software for video surveillance systems of Pelco Endura and Digital Sentry and also into applications of other producers, for example, of XProtect of Milestone company. It is software effectively at creation of large-scale or geographically distributed video systems with unlimited number of cameras and other IP devices of different brands.

IM10-E is expected installation in or out of premises, and is capable to work in the temperature range from -20 °C to +50 °C. The IP camera is delivered with the built-in varifocal megapixel lens (2.8-10 mm) with an auto focus and has the strong metal body of dome type which is steady against mechanical influences. Thanks to the thought-over fastening construction the dome IP camera is installed on an object in several minutes by laid on or cut-in installation, and when using additional brackets of the Pelco brand, its suspended installation is possible. Existence of a 3-axial bracket of fastening of the chamber block with turning angles 355º/180º/220º allows to expose the direction of the overview of the camera during its installation.
