2025: Regular Delivery Launch

November 13, 2025 Yakutia in announced the launch of the second stage of the project of unmanned delivery of parcels "Air Crossing," connecting Yakutsk and Nizhny Bestyakh. This was announced in his Telegram channel by the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Anatoly Semenov. According to him, Yakutia became the first region to organize regular flights UAV between settlements.

Semenov said that at the first stage, which lasted from mid-July to August 10, 2025, the technology was successfully tested: unmanned aerial vehicles transported about 600 kilograms of cargo across the Lena River, performing up to ten 15-minute flights daily with a payload of up to 10 kg.

The second stage of the project will be held in the most difficult mode from the point of view of transport communication - during the period of freezing (establishment of a continuous ice cover on water bodies) at temperatures up to -30 ° C.

As Semenov noted, the use of unmanned aerial vehicles will create a reliable transport connection between settlements in the most difficult off-season period. This innovation will have a direct impact on the economy: logistics costs will be significantly reduced.

According to Semenov's preliminary estimates, unmanned delivery will speed up the receipt of goods by 2-3 times, while reducing their cost compared to the use of traditional routes and modes of transport.

The Air Crossing project, according to Semenov, serves as a clear example of how advanced technologies radically change the quality of life. The project is a promising solution for the transformation of the logistics infrastructure of the region.

The leadership of Sakha and the organizers of the project - the Yakutia Technopark, the Logistics Operator of the Oil and Gas Industry and the Buntar IT Company - expect that the Air Crossing will bring tangible benefits not only to ordinary residents, but also to entrepreneurs, contributing to the development of the entire republic.^[1]
