2025: Product Announcement

On November 14, 2025, the Governor of the Arkhangelskaya Region Alexander Tsybulsky met with the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Andrei Nikitin to discuss the prospects for the development of the transport complex of Pomerania, paying special attention to the innovative direction - marine unmanned systems.

This was reported by the press service. In the Ministry of Transport RUSSIAN FEDERATION Arkhangelsk region, a pilot project has already been launched on the use of marine vessels for cargo transportation. Its goal is to test the technology, identify problems and assess cost-effectiveness. The initiators were the regional government, CJSC "" and Si Project JSC Bookless logistics"."

In the
Arkhangelsk region, cargo began to be delivered on unmanned boats

According to Rossiyskaya Gazeta, in July 2025, the Briz unmanned boat autonomously traveled 280 km from Arkhangelsk to the Solovetsky Islands. He successfully delivered 150 kg of equipment for the Solovkov power system. The entire transition from Arkhangelsk to the Arctic archipelago was carried out accompanied by the pilot ship "Captain Shershnev" and took 21 an hour.

According to Vladimir Shumilov, a representative of the test company, 95% of the route, the boat passed autonomously. Key tasks were worked out: bypassing obstacles and early divergence from ships.

According to the press center of the Ministry of Transport, this is the first experience in Russia in the use of marine unmanned systems in harsh northern conditions. By 2026, two more such boats are planned to be commissioned. The authorities intend to use drones to deliver vital goods to hard-to-reach areas of the Arctic.

According to Rossiyskaya Gazeta, the project also has industrial potential - the localization of the production of such equipment in the region is being considered. The completion of the experimental legal regime for naval drones in the Arkhangelsk region will take place in the fall of 2025. Particular attention is paid to training personnel for this new industry through cooperation with local universities.[1][2][3][4]
