Izhevsk state agricultural academy

The federal public educational institution of higher professional training "Izhevsk State Agricultural Academy" is a legal successor of the Moscow zootechnical institute of the horse breeding created in 1943. The Moscow zootechnical institute of horse breeding was transferred by the order of the Ministry of the higher education of the USSR of August 18, 1954 to the city of Izhevsk and reorganized into the Izhevsk state agricultural institute. In 1994 the institute received the status of academy.
