2025: Product Announcement

In mid-November 2025, Emm unveiled the world's first smart menstrual bowl, which provides personalized information about women's health. The product is equipped with built-in biosensors to help control the menstrual cycle and track changes.

Outwardly, the novelty looks like a regular menstrual cup. It is a reusable feminine hygiene product in the form of a flexible medical silicone cap that collects menstrual blood. Unlike tampons and pads, the bowl does not absorb secretions, but holds them, making it safe for the body's natural microflora. When inserted into the vagina, the cup folds and then fully opens to form a sealed seal. After removal, the contents are poured out, and the product itself is washed under running water with soap.

World's first vaginal insertion device for menstruation health assessment introduced

Sensors built into the Emm bowl allow you to estimate the amount of menstrual fluid released and the duration of the cycle. The data is displayed in a convenient form in the accompanying mobile application. This allows you to predict the next cycle, detect changes over time, and also receive personalized recommendations.

The Emm bowl provides protection for up to 12 hours - depending on the intensity of the discharge: in terms of the volume of liquid contained, the product is equivalent to four ordinary tampons. The application allows you to estimate the typical daily amount of allocations and plan a replacement in advance. According to the developers, the ergonomic design of the novelty provides comfort throughout the day. Smooth silicone facilitates easy insertion with a minimum friction applicator, and a comfortable rod helps with removal. A special case is used to store and charge the bowl. Emm raised $9 million in funding for its project.[1]
