The state scientific center of coloproctology Roszdrava implements the system of telemedicine and remote consultation

North and the State scientific center of coloproctology Roszdrava (GNTsK Roszdrava) announced the center of information technologies end of the first stage of an implementation project of a system of telemedicine and remote consultation.

Implementation in GNTsK Roszdrava of the system allowing to carry out consultation of surgeons and the medical personnel participating in transactions, external consultants without the need for presence in the operating room, a message audio-and a video of all events for formation of the knowledge base and use in the educational and scientific purposes, says CIT North became a project task.

Within the project it was required to ensure functioning of the equipment in the conditions of the operating room, simplicity of communication of medical personnel and consultants, high quality transmitted images and a sound. For project implementation the equipment of a video conferencing of LifeSize company was selected.

As noted, implementation of recording systems, systematization and broadcast of the saved-up material which will be able to be used in educational and scientific work of GNTsK Roszdrava will become development of the project. Also it is going to implement a connectivity of removed consultants that will allow to organize an emergency communication with specialists even if they are in other countries, emphasized North in CIT.

It is expected that implementation of the project will become the first step to development of interregional and international cooperation of medical institutions which will get access to extensive experience of specialists of GNTsK Roszdrava, and when scaling a system — to expert consultations of the leading surgeons and professors of the center.
