The SITA AirportConnect platform will simplify service of passengers at Sochi Airport

The SITA company announced that within preparation for holding the winter Olympic Games the Sochi International Airport starts the 400th platform of the general access of SITA (common-use passenger system). As expected, the new SITA AirportConnect platform supporting CUTE, CUPPS, web applications and booths of independent registration of CUSS will simplify service of passengers at Sochi Airport. With its help it is going to expand possibilities of processing of a passenger traffic which sharp increase is expected in February, 2014, says SITA.

It is planned that the public platform SITA AirportConnect will allow Sochi Airport to accept quickly runs of the new airlines wishing to include Sochi in the route network that is especially important for Russia now. Besides, the platform supports the technologies of independent registration and processing of baggage designed to simplify a travel. At the same time, the platform of the general access differs from SITA in profitability. According to the company, implementation of such platform reduces costs of the airport for 20-30% due to increase in efficiency and more complete use of infrastructure of the airport.
