The Kulinar-Strata commercial and industrial company is engaged in production and sale of non-stick and heat resisting ware and also house textiles. The head office of the company is in Moscow, and about 20 branches – in the large cities of Russia and Ukraine. Products of the company are provided more than in 60 cities in large supermarket chains.

The new warehouse Kulinar-Strata complex of 3,700 sq.m. located in. Railway the Moscow region, consists of two nearby buildings and it is separated into zones of floor and multilevel rack storage. The quantity of nomenclature positions in a warehouse is about 1500 units. The warehouse works in the mode of average intensity – shipment about 100 orders is daily made, each of which can turn on on average 20 lines of nomenclature positions.

The basic solution to implement a warehouse management system accepted the management of the enterprise for a long time. At first the staff of Kulinar-Strata considered the possibility of project implementation of automation by own forces based on the joint solution of 1C Company and AXELOT company "1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse". The choice for benefit of this product was connected, including, with the fact that the corporate information system of the enterprise works at a technology platform of 1C: Enterprise. Succession of the software, demand of the platform and products 1C in Russia, comparative simplicity of integration of a new system into information space of the enterprise and also price availability of the drawing solution became the important factors which defined the final solution of the management of Kulinar-Strata. As a result the standard software product "was purchased by 1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse" then the certified consultant of AXELOT provided for specialists of the enterprise an exit two-day training on functionality of the drawing solution. Nevertheless, taking into account specifics of warehouse business processes of Kulinar-Strata the decision to refuse independent implementation and to connect to works AXELOT company – the system developer with considerable experience of successful automation of warehouse complexes was made.

According to the results of preproject inspection the decision to use a standard product "1C Logistics was made: Management of a warehouse" with additional functionality. So, in particular, the automation system was complemented with functionality, to the corresponding specific processes of a complete set and disassembling of products. Despite the possibility of automatic placement of goods implemented in the program, owing to limit loading of warehouse spaces, the decision to use function of issue of tasks for manual placement of goods with the subsequent registration of the addresses of storage in a system was made. During the project electoral process of replenishment of a fissile region of selection of goods from area of its reserve storage is reflected in a system. Change of standard approach to feed, in particular, was caused by problems of maintenance of an optimal remaining balance of goods in a fissile region and decrease in number of its cells. According to the results of adaptation of a system to business processes of a warehouse accounting accuracy increased, selection of orders accelerated, the dependence on a human factor is minimized. At the enterprise the areas of a fissile and reserve region and the hoisting-and-transport equipment are optimum used. The data exchange between the system of operational accounting and a warehouse management system providing synchronization of stock balance and timely transfer of the planned orders is adjusted.

During the project 5 jobs are automated, one of them is provided for the administrator, and 4 others – for operators of a system, each of which during the project is trained to execute any transactions in the program.

Now a system is on maintenance. According to the deputy CEO of Kulinar-Strata company Vladimir Myalo, project teams of the Customer and the Contractor did everything possible for successful execution of works within three months. The management is satisfied with results of the project and is going to continue cooperation with AXELOT, including, regarding development of functionality of a corporate information system of Kulinar-Strata company.
